So if you have been following me on Instagram [which you should if you are not!], I recently posted a video about a book review that Raghav did. He reviewed the book “Here We Are” by Oliver Jeffers. This is a book that the author has written for his newborn as a guide about life on planet Earth. It simplifies life on earth and explains to the reader the basics about space and the solar system, the planet, the environments, the creatures that inhabit the planet and so on and so forth. I ordered the book not knowing what it actually is and was hoping for a story like his other amazing books. So I was a tad disappointed but the book grew on me. It helped Raghav [and me] transition from “story” books to the other genres.
The illustrations are amazing as usual and this is a book that resonates with kids and adults alike! Though Raghav has recommended this book for 5-year-olds, I think anyone can pick it up!
