This weekend marks the annual mecca of all music and wine lovers as Sulafest opens its gates on Friday, 3rd Feb! Sulafest, hosted by Sula Vineyards has become the largest music festival in the country and see throngs of people, coming all the way from neighbouring cities, states and even other countries! Yes, they do. I have a friend who flew in Australia last year only for the weekend! That is how much everyone loves Sulafest! It offers the perfect combination of world-renowned artists, world-renowned wine and other beverages and the best of food that the country has to offer. And every year, Vero Moda puts on a brilliant fashion show.
2017 marks the 10th edition of Sulafest and over the 10 years, we have seen people dressed their fashionably best and this year. This year, I teamed up with Janaki to put together 6 outfits / looks that are worthy of Sulafest. These outfits will set you apart in the crowd and make sure you totally rock the fest!
Rock Chic! Cotton ikat off shoulder top with a halter neck and metallic zip fastening. Paired with leatherette boot cut pants. Perfect combination of style and comfort!
The 80’s! Cotton tee with a permanently pleated black crepe skirt, midi length. Paired with a two-tone georgette boomerang scarf. Style with long chains and a messy bun for a fuss free fun look!
Boho-chic! Three tiered top with a balconette neckline in gradations of blue paired with a denim pencil skirt. Pair with ankle socks and brogues!
Pretty Girl Next Door! Double layered flared lace dress with a scooped neckline. Keep this simple with minimal accessories and bare / dewy make-up!
LBD with a twist! A new take on the classic Little Black Dress. Black lace is offset by pleated crepe. Flattering panelling accentuates the bust and a generous necklines adds an extra bit of oomph. Pair with dark lips and choker at the neck and you are all set!
Total Glam! This Fuschia gown in viscose jersey(fabric) with a cowl halter neck and plunging back is all you need to make heads turn! The fabric hugs all the right curves and colour makes sure you are the centre of everyones attention!
All these looks are easily available with Janaki and are not too difficult on the pocket either!
